The AWC calendar features monthly meetings with keynote speakers, monthly tours with English-speaking guides, and a myriad of activities organized by our special interest groups. All AWC events are open to all members. Guests of members are welcomed when space is available. All of our events are organized by members who volunteer their time and talents to helping us explore and enjoy Helsinki.

Recent tours have taken us to: Parliament, National Opera, VTT laboratories, Lumene factory, Kannisto bakery, Globe Hope, University Botanical Gardens, Kiasma, Helsinki Art Museum, and more!
Current interest groups active within the club are: Book Club; Bridge; Gardening; Gourmet Group; Handicrafts; Mother’s Network; Remembering Together; Yoga.

In spring 2017, AWC Finland will be hosting a FAWCO Region 2 Conference in Helsinki. Members from sister clubs in Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Russia are warmly welcome to attend!
